Growing up in a small town, Mike Lewis came to appreciate the fast pace and innovation of computers and mobile devices. He grew up in northern Virginia, but has lived in Chicago, Indianapolis, and currently lives in Richmond, VA. In his travels, he’s gotten to meet a lot of people and has worked in the travel, restaurant, and insurance industries. He loves music but is a huge fan of metal.

He was instantly drawn to the Android platform and purchased his first device, a T Mobile MyTouch 3G in 2009. He immediately become an evangelist of the platform, engaging users on social networks and within his circle of friends. He currently owns a Nexus One, a rooted Nook Color, and plans on continuing to support the Android community by developing applications for the platform and to speak out in its defense. He keeps up with other platforms though with his iPod Touch, and Blackberry Curve.

Mike has always felt a desire to help others and to teach people how to best make use of these new technologies. He’s been proactive to reach out to people and speak to them at their level. He started The Lewis Show blog in 2004, and is an active user of Twitter (@mlewis106). Mike is fortunate to have a patient and understanding fiancee along with four (yes four) cats.
