Doodle Fit Guarantees, “Once you start playing you won’t be able to stop!” That is very bold to claim but I have to admit they are right. This game is great to play for 15 minutes or hours at a time. The puzzle game is so intriguing it will more than likely lead to hours of game time because ”Once you pop, the fun don’t stop.” I could not help myself. Doodle fit does a great job by making this puzzle game so easy to play, many difficulty packs, and the option to choose from five different languages. These options widen the users that can enjoy Doodle Fit, which will lead to a larger fan base, which then will lead to make “Puzzle Packs.” When everyone gets what he or she want, everyone wins. Well Doodle Fit is full of win and can only keep going up in quality.
The developers very well articulated the overall objective of the puzzle game Doodle Fit; “Your task is simple: fit the given set of blocks into given shapes. Drag the blocks inside and outside in search for the layout that covers the whole shape. A level is complete when all blocks have been used and there’s no more free space in the shape.” Even thought the objective is very simple to understand does not mean this puzzle game is simple to complete. Doodle Fit does a great job having the users crawl before they run sort of speak. The “Beginner Pack” will seem easy but everything will change once you start the “Letters Pack.” Difficult level will increase significantly and will require you to spend a good amount of time to complete just one puzzle.
The game-play for Doodle Fit is very responsive but the controls can catch you off guard at first. When you select a shape, you want to place on the game board it will not be located right underneath your finger but instead be slightly above. This is great planning on behalf of the developers because now users are able to see both the shape and the game board at the same time without your finger obstructing the view. View the video above to see some actual game play to better understand controls and game objective.
A puzzle game is only as good as the amount of challenging levels it provides to entertain users. Doodle Fit does not lack in this category either. Doodle Fit currently has 4 with 25+ puzzles in each pack that gives users a great library of puzzles to complete. There are many puzzles packs on the iOS version of Doodle Fit so we can only assume that the same packs will show up on the Android version for more puzzle fun.
As far as game options, users can change game themes (2 now), sound effects, music, language, and profile. Users can also view their progress under the “Stats” menu to see the levels competed and view the amount of time you have played Doodle Fit.
The game is very well developed with great graphics and easy game controls. As said before the game objective might seem simple but the puzzle creation really challenges users to think outside the box. For those that are talented at puzzle I will admit I will be jealous because it takes me a good amount of time just to complete one of the letter game board. Overall, Doodle Fit is a great game for nearly everyone and has a fair price at $1.42. There is also a free version if you wish to test it out before committing to the purchase. The paid version is a donate option with the benefit of getting rid of ads.
